Why failure need not exist for you

Failure is something that most people fear, the impelling force behind so many lives and a rather negative energy that can be put to good use. However it is a very sad thing that most people do live their lives hounded by this fear, nipping at their ankles and making them try to run faster, achieve more, buy more, find a partner - quick now - before it's too late, fear, fear, fear. What a negative way to live. As a witch, there is no room for fear in my life in such a way. Magic is all about believing that the best possible outcome, the outcome of events that others dream about but dare not hope for, will be! And it certainly will, because magic trains the mind to be positive, to think positively, to focus with mental strength, that increases as we practise focusing on the good. It teaches us to notice only the things around us that take us where we want to go and how we want to feel.

I can help to heal someone by seeing them healed, ignoring fears that they may get more ill, that they feel terrible now and are suffering badly, not in my mind they aren't. In my mind they are healthy, healed and enjoying life. That is what I see, will focus on and so that is what will happen. If a doubt sneaks up on me, I dismiss it, that's just my worrying. Then I return my focus to the sick person's health, not their illness or suffering. If I'm bringing harmony to a marriage that may be about to hit the divorce courts, I block out the rows my friend may tell me about. I do not visualise the smashed crockery as he tried to explain away his one night stand. I do not even hear the tale of the one night stand, I simply see my friends in love again, holding hands, gazing into each other's eyes and very happy together. My friend might be in tears after a screaming match with her husband, I'll comfort her because I know I can, not only because I am psychic, that has nothing to do with it, psychic or not, I'll focus and see only my vision of their happiness together again. My psychic self may see divorce writ loud in a decree nisi, but the reality of my vision can overcome fate, as yours can too. And if my friend refrains from breaking crockery over her husband's head for long enough, and listens to me, so changing her mental vision of their future, resulting in more positive behaviour from both of the couple, they will be happy again, my mind and my friend's, which is the biggest part of magic - the mind, will ensure that.

Some might say, well you're a witch, you must have spells fail. No, I don't, I just change the angle from which I might be approaching the problem that needs spell work. Magic only fails if you fear failure and allow it to fail. If you truly want anything in life, I firmly believe, it can be yours, with the right thinking and necessary effort, you can will your way to happiness. You don't need anyone to tell you that you will succeed, you may go to a psychic who can advice you, but the knowledge had better be deeply ingrained in your mind, no forecast of doom can prevent you from dispelling it with eventual success. No job is out of reach, no happiness is too great for you, we all deserve happiness and fulfilment. If we would only believe that that is what is meant for us, if we reach out for our goals with enough desire, perseverance and mental attitude to keep visualising our dreams, even when we have a blip and need to try again, keep that attitude of "I will," and see it, and you will, that is what magic is all about.

Many people sadly, do not even try to reach out for their dreams because they fear they cannot succeed, well no they can't until they begin to change their attitude, then we see a different story emerge, the success story. It would be wonderful if we could all stop running through life out of fear, but rather running with happy expectation, excited, like a child is, exuberant, wanting to open every door to see what good things lie in wait. Isn't that better than constantly looking over our shoulders, peering for the bogeyman of failure - is he there? Only if you expect him to be, like a hallucination, you can dismiss that bogeyman from your life forever, if you seek the good things, knowing they are within your reach, and don't look back, look forward to all the abundant goodness the universe can offer you. There is no bogeyman of failure, don't conjure him up, and if he ever appears, walk right through him, and steadily keep your eyes on the good that will come your way, if you focus on your goals, you will see success time after time and fears will drain away like the empty grey mirages I know them to be. Failure is only for those who wont lean to the side to look past it, to the success it obscures.
