Probably since prehistoric man, the people of Wales have warned their children not to step into fairy rings. Fairy rings are the circles of grass we see in grass meadows. These are very abundant in Wales and still people think it bad luck to step into one, even though few still believe the fairy spirits dance around them. It was once thought that a cap of invisibility would drop right over your head if you stepped into a fairy ring and oh dear, you would disappear forever and a day. But people still think one should be cautious of fairy rings, that there is some supernatural fairy or elemental spirit behaviour occurring. Which is good news for us who have love spells wishes, now we know where to go to find and invoke an elemental spirit or fairy as we call them. But don’t chance your luck and step inside the ring, stay outside of its border at all times.
To cast your fairy ring love spell, take an offering, dainty food, delicious and appealing is a good place to begin, all magic requires a sacrifice. Place your offering at sundown beside the fairy ring and sit down careful not to overlap its boundary. Then call out to the fairy spirits and ask for your love spell wish to be granted as long as it harms no-one. This last caveat is important, as if granted without it, your love spell wish might in some unforeseeable way harm you, or someone you care for, even the one you love themselves. They might for instance run across a road to see you and be run over. So you must remember to use that caveat always when casting any spell, ‘as long as it harms no-one.’
